Financial Information

The total general fund budget for 2007 is $2,656,000. This budget is prayerfully considered by the staff and elders of Greenwood Community Church to carry out the ministries that God calls us to participate in. The budget calls for a 7% increase in giving for 2007. 

The general fund giving for 2006 ended a slightly short. In 2006, giving was budgeted to be $2,434,000, and gifts received totaled $2,393,000; a shortfall of $41,000.

Capital Campaign
 

The current capital campaign at Greenwood Community Church is Celebrating God’s Faithfulness. This campaign has pledges of $870,000, and this campaign is 2005 through 2008. 

The purpose of the campaign is to fund and retire the debt on the $5.5 million, 30,000 sq. ft. expansion of the church facilities that was completed in 2004. At the end of 2006, the debt balance was $4,100,000.
