Congregational Life

Congregational Life is the most common starting place for our members as we seek how to explore our spiritual needs within the congregation. Other ministries serve specific groups of people with a common gender or age perspective – Men, Women, High School, Children, etc. The focus here is to locate and participate in activities that can satisfy our individual walks with Jesus. Congregational Life serves the congregation as a whole and you as an individual with both private and public needs.

Infant Dedication & Baptism are normally held during Sunday morning services. In infant baptism we are dedicating children to the Lord. We are asking the Lord to touch their lives so that later on in life they will make a decision to receive Him as Lord and Savior. Baptisms are held several times during the year.

Email Anthony Vartuli for information on our Infant Dedication & Baptism.

Marriage is a celebration our staff would love to assist you with.  Several of our pastors perform marriage ceremonies at our church.  Premarital counseling is normally required before a couple can be married.

For wedding information, please contact Jill Melton.

Funerals are a vital part of ministry at Greenwood Community Church includes holding funerals. Our funerals services are respectful and Christ honoring.

Counseling, both individual and marriage counseling is available on a limited basis for regular attendees of our congregation. We also have a referral list for those looking for counseling on a long-term basis.
