Outreach
 The outreach ministry of Greenwood Community Church is based on the philosophy of developing ministry partnerships, both locally and internationally. The distribution of the outreach ministries of Greenwood Community Church is based on the biblical instructions to go to all nations from “Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Consequently, our ministries from our doorstep to distant lands are divided into Metro Denver ministry partnerships Latin American ministry partnerships, and international ministry partnerships. Most of our international ministry partnerships are focused in Muslim nations.
In addition to having our ministry partners based in various countries, Greenwood Community Church folks have numerous ways to get involved in these partnerships. In Metro Denver, folks can get involved in tutoring and mentoring at-risk youth. In addition, there are opportunities to minister to homeless youth and their families in a variety of ways. Regular work projects are being scheduled from time to time. Non-perishable food collection for the poor takes place on the first Sunday of each month. During the holiday season, individuals, small groups, and families can get involved in the Thanksgiving Outreach, Christmas Store, and Operation Christmas Child. An International Friendship Club is active in reaching internationals residing in Metro Denver. |

International Friendship Club
The purpose of the International Friendship Club is to befriend and share God’s love with non-Christian internationals living in Metro Denver who are in business or a profession. The various activities of the IFC include establishing friendship partners, small group dinners, social and cultural events, investigative Bible studies and more. Extreme Community Makeover Day - The next makeover day for Greenwood will be on Saturday, September 6. We will be partnering with Confluence Ministries and working in the West Colfax and Villa Park neighborhoods on a variety of home improvement projects such as painting, landscaping and graffiti removal.
