Our Blessing
In 1991, God led a small group of His people to plant Greenwood Community Church.
Over the years, as the message of His grace spread, GCC’s numbers have increased enabling the planting of new churches. To continue that healthy growth, we also have “re-potted” our church several times by expanding our building. Today, God again has blessed our church by filling our sanctuary and classrooms and increasing our opportunities to spread His Word.
To continue a vision of relationship and service to Him, one another, and the world, we expanded our building in 2004 to include more classrooms for children, youth, and adults:
- A Family Life Center to encourage fellowship
- An enlarged nursery to free young parents to worship
- An expanded sanctuary to enable more people to praise the Lord
- An enlarged kitchen to support gatherings
- A bigger chapel for prayer and small group worship
- More office space to equip our leadership
- More parking to accommodate our growing body
