Zoe Writer's Guidelines
Mission Statement:
Zoe is a mouthpiece of the Women’s Ministry of Greenwood Community Church through which God can speak of His transforming love through authentic life experiences.
Stories along the path:
Our relationship with God is often described as a journey. Some of us have just begun walking the path that leads to the Father and others have traveled far. These sacred stories from all along the path are written by women who sit near you each Sunday.
General Editorial Guidelines:
- Zoe shares stories of faith.
- Suggested length for stories is 350 - 500 words.
- Short fillers (100-200 words), Christian book reviews, or poetry are encouraged.
- Publication months: January, May, and September.
- Need final submissions by December 1, April 1, and August 1, respectively, for editorial review and production time.
Who May Submit:
- All GCC women who read Zoe and who have a story to tell.
Submission Process:
- Contact Pam Held (303-738-1878) or email (heldpam@hotmail.com) for information on submitting to ZOE.
- Submissions must be made by email wherever possible, preferably as a word.doc file attachment.
- Stories will be prioritized in the order received. Late submissions may be used in upcoming issues as space permits.
- Editor reserves right to edit stories as warranted by content and space restraints. Editor will contact writer with changes before publication to secure writer’s consent.
