The deepest joy of life is knowing Jesus, loving Him and becoming like Him. This is the life of a true disciple of Jesus. To facilitate this growth and equip you as a disciple, we offer these opportunities to grow in knowledge, love, skill and application of God’s Word. Classes are grouped by topic and are designed to meet you wherever you are in your faith journey. You may choose to attend any class.

Adult Classes

Everyone has questions! Each week we will explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as “Who is Jesus?” and “How can I have faith?” Probably the most important part of our time together is to share thoughts and ideas on the topic and discuss it in a safe, small group setting. The weekly topic is shared through a creative and inspiring DVD talk that will help guide our small group discussions. There will also be a Saturday gathering (October 20, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) focusing on the critical and life-giving topic of the Holy Spirit.

Teacher: Adam Long
Location: Mt. Evans
The Bible is not a series of disconnected stories, but a single narrative that points to Jesus Christ. We will look at the structure of the Bible as a Story in six acts and will consider how to read the entire Bible through the Gospel lens. Having learned the Bible’s big picture, one can more easily understand its various parts.

Just beyond the veil of everyday existence lies the vibrant realm of heaven. A Being lives there—spinning the stars and breathing out life. A glimpse of His holy face could destroy us, but His beauty and infinite love will make our souls resound with joy for eternity. If you hunger to know Him more, please join us as we read A.W. Tozer’s classic, “The Knowledge of the Holy.”

No problem! Lessons are prepared for you, supplies are provided and emails are sent to you. Simply familiarize yourself with the Bible Story and activities in the lesson and love our kids into the Kingdom.

Parents can discuss the same Bible story on their drive home with all their young children! The Gospel Project® is taught to 2-year-olds through 4th graders with age-appropriate lessons. It’s a chronological, Christ-centered Bible study for kids that examines how all Scripture gives testimony to Jesus Christ. Kids will journey from Genesis to Revelation and discover how God’s plan of redemption unfolds throughout Scripture and still today, compelling them to join the mission of God.

The Upper Room (5th)
5th-grade students love the “The Upper Room.” They learn and apply foundational truths of the Christian faith. They also deepen their understanding of baptism, the Lord’s Supper, Apostles’ Creed, and Lord’s Prayer. This is an engaging, fun, discipleship course where students work together, help each other learn, and prepare themselves for Middle School ministry and LIFE!
