Sometimes we face more than discouragement. Sometimes discouragement takes the form of anxiety, depression, or other types of mental suffering. In fact, at any given time one in four Americans, both inside and outside the church, suffers from a diagnosable mental illness. Recognizing that many at Greenwood share these struggles or are supporting family members with mental illness, we invite you to join us for a luncheon featuring speaker Evie Bodett (EPC Pastoral Counselor/Therapist, MA, BCPC, AACC, ACA). Evie will share with us about the intersection of our faith and our mental wellness and talk about support for those with mental health struggles.
