24-Hour Prayer Room: Pray for our Young People
At Greenwood, we long to see our young people grow to love Jesus and follow his way. If you have young people on your heart, please join us as we pour out 24 hours of continuous prayer for our children, youth, and young adults.
You may drop in at our prayer room in the Commons during the day or join us on Zoom during the night:
- Commons Prayer Room: 5—10 p.m. Saturday, August 29
- Zoom Prayer Room: 10 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday, August 30.
- Commons Prayer Room: 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 30
(Consider coming an hour early for church or staying an hour after!).
In the prayer room, you will find five interactive and peaceful prayer stations, guides to prayer, and a variety of aids to encourage you in praying for our preschool and elementary children, middle and high schoolers, college students, and young adults. If you engage with all the stations, it should take you about an hour. However, you are free to stay for as long as you like or leave whenever you need to.
During these specific hours someone will be in the prayer room to lead the prayer time and provide live worship:
Saturday: 5:00 p.m. (kickoff) and 7:00 p.m.
Sunday: 8:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. (wrap-up)
We pray this beautiful prayer room will provide a place for you to encounter the presence of God and that in response to our outpouring of prayer, God will pour out his Spirit of life and love on our young people, guiding them in his path of life.
