Join us on an 11-day business as mission trip to support and encourage Greenwood’s mission partner Empact Adventures in Nepal (https://www.empactadventures.com/). Empact partners with vulnerable villages and other business as mission organizations in Nepal to prevent exploitation through ethical, responsible tourism.

Nepal is one of the world’s largest sources of foreign labor, driven by a lack of economic opportunity at home. That reality fuels widespread exploitation and human trafficking, especially in the rural villages of the Himalayas. Our Greenwood team will spend several nights trekking to villages in the beautiful Ghyangphedi region of the Himalayas, staying with local families to support economic development and church planting efforts, including helping with small business development classes. Team members who prefer not to trek can homestay in our first village and serve that community. From there we visit a goat farm business in Gorkha and that local church community.

In Kathmandu we will stay at Empact’s Bed and Breakfast, take a human justice tour, worship with a local church, ride a cable car to the top of a mountain for a view of Mt. Everest, and encourage other local businesses working to share the gospel.

This trip is a great opportunity to experience and take part in the gospel’s growing impact in Nepal. Over the years we have built a close, personal relationship with the leaders of Empact Adventures, with visits to each other’s homes in Nepal and the United States. They will take excellent care of us as we come to encourage them.
