Forth and Flourish

A year-long coming-of-age program for parents and their pre-teens/teens.

Starting October 26, 2025


We are excited to share with you, Forth and Flourish, a yearlong discipleship journey for preteens and early teens as they step into the exciting and formative years of adolescence. Through teaching, discussion, and shared experiences, students and their parents explore identity, purpose, and faith—together. This ministry is designed to help students grow in emotional, relational, and spiritual maturity while strengthening family connections during a season of major change. We would love for you to join us on this journey and encourage you to prayerfully consider this opportunity for you and your student. Who Participates:

  • Students (ages 10–14) who are curious, growing, and beginning to ask big questions about who they are and what they believe.
  • Parents who want to walk alongside their kids through this season with intentionality, support, and joy.

Monthly Schedule:
Each session includes interactive teaching, small group conversation, and space for parents and students to engage meaningfully—together and separately. We will meet from 12:30-2:00 p.m. in the Commons.

    Exploring identity, image-bearing, and what it means to be uniquely made by God
  • Session 2 – November 23What Kind of Story Do You Want to Live?
    Helping students recognize the kind of narrative they’re shaping with their lives
  • DecemberOff for the Holidays
  • Session 3 – January 18Embracing Adolescence
    Addressing the physical, emotional, and relational shifts of growing up
  • Session 4 – February 22: Maleness and Femaleness
    Gender-specific conversations led by trusted leaders (Ellie with girls, Wes with boys)
  • Session 5 – March 29Making Faith My Own
    Encouraging students to explore personal faith and spiritual ownership
  • Session 6 – April 26Coming of Age Celebration
    A joyful, honoring moment to mark growth, identity, and God’s calling in their lives

Commitment:
We are asking a parent attend each session with your student and complete coursework outside of our sessions. The expectation is that you attend each session, allowing for 1 absence for the duration of the class.
