Christian Recovery
Experience a powerful resource for merging the practical wisdom of the Twelve Steps with the spiritual truths of the Bible. It combines recovery and spirituality to give Christians in recovery a safe place to share with one another and heal through the love of Jesus Christ. Our time together is a small group format and includes a review of the Bible or Biblically based literature and discussion. This group is for people in recovery from or struggling with addictions of any kind. Please email Jim Peros to receive the virtual meeting link.

MOMCo (MOPS)
MOMCo (Formerly known as MOPS)
Early-bird Registration Deadline: August 16
The MOMco at Greenwood is all about community: supporting each other through the messiness of motherhood and loving one another with laughter and tears.
From pregnancy to the elementary years, this ministry meets twice a month for fellowship and the chance to hear from great speakers, kid-free! Drop your kids off in our KidsCo program and enjoy a delicious brunch.
This year’s theme is Wild Hope! A year of new things. A new season needs a new strategy, and we choose wild, contagious hope. Hope is not a passive exercise in wishing; it’s an active approach to living life engaged. Hope is generative. In Proverbs 13:12 we read, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.” Hope provides clarity, vision and vitality. We’d love for you to join us!

Begins June 19, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. or 6:00-7:30 p.m., Wednesdays, ending on August 7, in the Commons.
***We will not be meeting on July 3.***
The cost is $20 and includes books.

*Kids Care is FULL. We have reached capacity and cannot accommodate any more AM childcare.
In this 7-session study, join with six beloved Bible teachers who will help you study prayers in the Bible that can inspire your own. You’ll learn that God welcomes your praise and lament, your thanksgiving and intercession. You’ll see examples of how to pray when you’re alone and when you’re gathered with others. Above all, you’ll notice there’s no one right way to pray. As you draw near to God through prayer, you’ll find your faith strengthened and your heart united to Christ.
Contact Nicole Murray with any questions.
Better: A Study of Hebrews
BETTER: A STUDY OF HEBREWS
June 16 – August 18
In this verse-by-verse study of the Book of Hebrews, Jen Wilkin explores how God “provided something better for us” in the person of Jesus Christ. Through stories of Old Testament heroes and practices, the author of Hebrews demonstrates how the new covenant is superior to the old and how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every promise. Explore familiar verses in context of the entire Bible, learning how to place your hope and faith in Christ alone.
